Commissioning Agent Jobs in Phoenix, AZ

Level 1 through Level 5 commissioning, integrated systems testing and turnover. A major western hub, with land and power availability driving continued buildout.

Open now. No obligation.

Required on every project before handover, and almost impossible to hire mid-build.

Base range for this role is $95,000 - $160,000, before per diem. Work in this corridor clusters around Phoenix, Mesa, Chandler, Goodyear.

What gets you hired

Experience across Levels 1 to 5 and, increasingly, a recognised commissioning credential. Documentation discipline matters as much as technical depth.

When this trade is needed

Last on site and first blamed for delay. Starts at factory witness testing and runs to integrated systems testing and turnover.

Why Phoenix specifically

Land and power were the draw, and cooling is the engineering problem. Desert ambient temperatures push designs toward liquid cooling and larger chilled water plant than the same capacity needs elsewhere.

Mechanical trades carry more of the work here than in cooler corridors: more pipe, more plant, longer commissioning on the cooling side.
